A recent article in Business Insider notes that many cities are becoming more aware of the value of their urban forests. Tampa is one of these, aided by the forestry analysis performed by USF Water Institute director Shawn Landry every five years, and by the Tampa Tree Map website and app created by the USF-WI to crowdsource tree data.
