The USF Water Institute worked as a subcontractor to Environmental Science Associates Inc. to perform assessments for each of the City of Lakeland’s eleven priority lakes: Beulah, Bonnet, Bonny, Crystal, Hollingsworth, Mirror, Morton, Gibson, Parker, Wire and Hunter. The analysis included estimates of lake volume and lake area at one-foot resolution, and estimates of the amount of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) in each lake, including Percent of Area Covered (PAC) and Percent Volume Inhabited (PVI) of SAV coverage for each lake.
