Florida, with over 3,800 species of native or naturalized ferns and seed plants, is the third most floristically diverse state in the United States. The Atlas of Florida Plants provides a source of information useful to anyone who needs to know the distribution of plants within the state. It will also serve as a companion volume for The Guide to Vascular Plants of Florida (1998, 2003, 2011) and for regional floras, such as Clewell (1985), Long and Lakela (1971), and Wunderlin (1983, 1992).
